RK provided design and implementation services for this 2-storey, 12,500 sq. ft. new building and renovation project, which was also designed to be blast-resistant. Facilities include a new petrochemical quality assurance laboratory, renovated general storage, offices, and lab lockers/ washrooms in the existing building. Extensive programming exercises with user groups were conducted to ensure that a high-performance work environment was produced. State-of-the-art casework elements, air supply and exhaust systems, overhead service provision, optimized work flow efficiencies, and pneumatic tube sample delivery system are key attributes of the laboratory.
