The Calgary Board of Education contracted RK to design this K-4 school in south Calgary. The building, which serves as a feeder school for larger Grades-5-to-9 facilities, provides 31,000 sq. ft. of learning space, as well as a notable social and physical presence in the community. This project achieves a high standard for new elementary school design, specifically in terms of inclusion, openness, flexibility, and technological integration – all in the face of tight budget constraints.
