Radisson park Elementary School, calgary, alberta
In consultation with the Calgary Board of Education (CBE), RK worked on the design and development of a new K-4 school facility (Radisson Park School) on an adjacent site to the existing Sir Wilfrid Laurier Junior High School. The Radisson Park School was designed to a capacity of 350 students (with expansion opportunities intrinsic to the design). Central to the assignment was providing the CBE with a price-conscious, budget-friendly means of expanding, maintaining and upgrading its building infrastructure, while simultaneously empowering RK and the constructor to manage the project development, design and construction to the pre-established cost parameters.
