nwr non-process buildings, redwater, alberta
RK’s design team was responsible for the interiors of North West Redwater Partnership (NWR)'s series of non-process, occupied buildings in Northern Alberta. These included a Control and Administration building, a Fire Hall and Maintenance building, a Reactor Assembly building, a Security building, as well as Hazmat and Bundle Wash facilities.
The Control and Administration building includes a large reception and waiting area, open and closed concept office spaces, meeting rooms and board rooms with views of the site, multiple kitchens including a dining hall, and a high tech control room. The Fire Hall and Maintenance building houses multiple bays for vehicle storage and maintenance, as well as office and training spaces.
